The offer regarding wine is so huge these days that wine estates vie to outdo each other in finding a way to make their product shine.
The design of a wine label can make or break the success of a new wine introduced to the market. Even beyond the quality of the wine itself, the label plays a primary role in the purchasing decisions of customers. It is on this fact that many graphic designers have focused their attention to making creative, compelling labels that connect a bottle of wine with its buyer.
Here are a few nice examples:
The Neil Ashmead GTS, or “Grand Tourer Shiraz” by Elderton Wines, Australia
Return of the living red, Redhead Wines, Australia
On s’en bat les couilles (never mind the bollocks, sex pistols inspired), France
Vampire Merlot from Vincon Vrancea, Romania
Braille wine label on Lazarus wines, Spain
B Frank Wine
I’m sure you have more creative labels in mind. Please send them to us by mail : firstname.lastname@example.org (either photos, or just the name of the wine, we’ll find it), and we will post it on this page.
Which one did you prefer? Are you keen on these creative labels, or would you rather stick to classic one? Tell us!
